The ARC Centre of Excellence in Future Low-Energy Electronics Technologies (FLEET) addresses a grand challenge: reducing the energy used in information technology (IT). IT now accounts for 5% of the electricity use on Earth, and is doubling every 10 years. The current technology, silicon complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) will stop becoming more efficient in the next decade as Moore’s law comes to an end.

Through the use of strong colour and lines, high technology and conceptual imagery, we were able to meet FLEET’s requirement to create a website that reflected the Centre’s position as a leader in advanced electronics research.
